July paid occupancy ended at 63.5%, a slight declined of 4% to last year, ADR (average daily rate) followed the same trend with a 2.6% down.
August and September are pacing very similar to 2022. We continue to see the trend of “reservations in the month for the month” rather than advance bookings, with ample events and great weather, (knock on wood stays that way and of course we all have to do our part to keep it that way) we trust these months will see some last-minute bookings. On the ADR front we are seeing that the ADR across the west industry has hit its peak and now several lodging properties have to be a little more flexible or provide more value for their products in order to obtain higher occupancy.
